The following membership guidelines are taken from the Colorado Euskal Etxea, The Colorado Basque Club Corporation Bylaws:

Membership shall be granted to any person of Basque ancestry, any person not of Basque decent but married to a Basque or any person interested in Basque culture.
Membership into the Basque Club shall be upon the recommendation of two members in good standing, applicant’s submission of a completed membership application and approval by a majority vote at a regular meeting or by Board approval. Members have no voting rights except as authorized by the Board of Directors.

Annual dues shall be set in the amount of $15.00 per year for a single membership, $25.00 for a couple membership and $30.00 per year for a family membership payable to the corporation and are due upon membership approval and/or January 1st of each year. A family membership is defined as those family members living in the same household regardless of size but limited to those family members under the age of eighteen (18). Membership dues can be adjusted on a sliding scale or waived at the discretion of the Board of Directors for members experiencing financial hardship. Fifty cents ($.50) of each membership fee will be paid to the North American Basque Organization (N.A.B.O.) for membership dues. Members who fail to pay their dues 60 days after the due date will be dropped from the membership roster.
